Congregation for Everyone
Temple Israel Ner Tamid (TINT) is a dynamic, Reform Jewish congregation in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, just east of Cleveland. We are conveniently located on Lander Road between Mayfield and Cedar roads, easily accessible from I-271.
Our synagogue, led by Rabbi Matthew Eisenberg, is small in number but large in spirit and enthusiasm. Friday night Shabbat services are open to all and start at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend: families with children, seniors, singles, couples of mixed faiths (nearly 30% of our membership are interfaith families) and anyone who wants to share a warm, friendly environment.
We Provide a Jewish Education
TINT offers a religious school for grades K – 10 and an active adult education program. A Women’s Torah Study Group meets twice a month. And we have launched an exciting new speakers program.
At TINT, we felt like celebrities the first day we were there. Members introduced themselves, and I knew in my heart, that we found home. -
Sherry Dutcher
We enjoyed the service, the diverse membership and the friendliness of the people, so several years ago we joined. -
Marv Gisser
I am only sorry we didn’t join sooner, but we are here now and we
love it! -
Stephanie Baden
We Help Others
Our temple's commitment to helping others is well known throughout the community. Everyone is encouraged to bring something for our Mitzvah of the Month program. TINT volunteers prepare and serve dinner regularly at St. Aloysius Church in Glenville. We also help the homeless, providing PB&J sandwiches, made and distributed by our members every Friday night. Each year we host two blood drives and a Yom Kippur food collection.
Bringing Us Together: Special Events
Special events, such as congregational Seders, monthly Potluck Oneg Shabbats and birthday and anniversary blessings, bring us all together as a community. See the Highlights on this page or visit our calendar to see upcoming events.
