Two Free Classes
Often, there is nothing like a Yiddish word. If you are a fresser, a person who eats without moderation, we have numerous items upon which to fress for intellectual and Jewish sustenance. The beauty of fressing for the mind is it never goes to your waistline.
In particular, Rabbi Matt is offering two evening courses for your mind and spirit: Taste of Judaism and Feast of Judaism. “Taste” is a three consecutive evening course which offers an intellectual taste on three general topics: 1) God; 2) Torah; and 3) Israel. In 2015, please join us on Wednesdays, January 21st, 28th and Feb. 4th from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
“Feast” is a six evening course which concentrates on Jewish holidays and life-cycle events. In Spring 2015, the classes will meet Wednesdays, unless otherwise noted, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Dates: Feb. 25th, Mar. 3rd (Tuesday), 11th, 18th, 25th, (no class on April 1st) and Apr. 8th (last class).
“Taste” and “Feast” are open to anyone interested in learning. Bring along your friends and introduce them to some of what we do here at TINT. As with all of our Adult Education offerings, you can drop in for a session, or two, if you cannot attend every class. Please register with Sherry Kaufman at the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland (216) 371-0446. We ask for registration so we can approximate the amount of xeroxing.
These free classes are sponsored by the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland Board of Rabbis in order to provide outreach to the community…Jewish or not.
