The Woman Who Fought a Holocaust Denier – and Won!

Dr. Deborah Lipstadt, Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at Emory University, first gained fame for her book, The Eichmann Trial. Her reputation was further enhanced in a libel trial in England against David Irving. a Holocaust denier, which she described in her book History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier. Justice Charles Gray declared: “puts an end to the pretense that [Irving] is anything but a self-promoting apologist for Hitler.”

Dr. Lipstadt has been honored by many organizations and has received honorary degrees from half-a-dozen universities.

Proceeds from the event helped further TINT’s well-known Tzedakah and religious education programs.
