30 Minutes and a Car
That is all you need to help us make a difference.
Every week members of our congregation pick up donated food from local businesses and deliver it to a charity.
How It Works
- Panera Bakery and Chick-fil-A donate food.
- TINT volunteers pick it up in the evening, just before closing time.
- They deliver it to The Lutheran’s Ministry Mens Shelter in downtown Cleveland.
Some members deliver it to another charity of their choice.
Josh and I did the Saturday Chick-Fil-A pick-up this weekend, for the first time, and it was very rewarding. We took the donated food to St. James in Lake County. – Jordan Levy.
Do You Want to Help?
It is easy. Peter Freimark organizes the pick-up schedule. Call him through the office (440-473-5120) and let us know that you want to help.
There are enough volunteers so that no one person is driving too much. Most people drive once a week or once a month.
Panera Bread pick-up days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Chick-Fil-A pick-up is on Saturdays.

Volunteer Drivers Needed.
We always can use more volunteers to pick-up the food and deliver it. You can take it to the Lutheran’s men shelter, or drop it off at your favorite charity…the choice is yours.
