The Festival of Sukkot begins on Tishri 15, the fifth day after Yom Kippur, and lasts for seven days. At Temple Israel we celebrate it during Friday night Shabbat services, instead of the first official eve of Sukkot. Volunteers, build the sukkah, a few days before the holiday and the children decorate it.
