Yom Ha-atzmaut 78 Parade, April 19, 2026
It was a blustery and cool but sunny day. Congregants along with their children, pets, trucks and convertibles, marched together to celebrate Yom Ha-atzmaut 78 in a parade that went along Lander Road and through a few neighboring streets for about a mile, accompanied by Mayfield Police. They sang, held flags and signs– and as a special task to beautify the area, picked up litter along the way. After the parade everyone was treated to sweet treats and warm drinks afterwards, during a video presentation with Rabbi Matt.

Dunk Tank Fun Kicks off Religious School Vacation May 17, 2026
Warm weather and sunshine, along with unexpected splashes kept kids cool and excited to send their school mates, and Rabbi Matt into the (warm water) dunk tank. Parents and volunteers attending also made the day extra special by helping to pick up the tennis balls that rolled down the drive, but a brilliant idea to build a ‘shoe blockade’ kept them close. Everyone had a blast during the get-together, and on top of that, it was the last day of Religious School before summer break! They all enjoyed Mitchell’s Ice Cream and other treats, along with a basketball game afterwards. Have a great summer kids!
